3. Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce
Supporting existing small business in the Elkin area www.YadkinValley.org
Membership provides numerous opportunities for your business to be promoted to other Members and the public.  Call 336-526-1111 or visit them at 257 Standard Street, in downtown Elkin. 

4. Downtown Elkin Business Association
If you are buying or leasing a building in historic downtown Elkin, the downtown business association helps promote your business, offers downtown bucks for special promotions, and organizes special events in the downtown (Cruise Ins and the Elkin/Jonesville Christmas Parade).  Membership required but with that, offers additional benefits as a downtown merchant and listing on their website. Learn more at their facebook page or www.downtownElkin.com.  Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  


5. Elkin Town Hall
You'll want to visit the town hall to obtain sign permits and zoning permits, check on available properties, learn about potential grant opportunities, and set up your business utilities and trash collection.

6. Elkin Main Street Advisory Board (MSAB)
Downtown Elkin is located within a Municipal Service District (MSD), and the Town has been a member of the North Carolina Main Street Program since 1998.  With that come added benefits, a Main Street Manager, and advisory board that budgets for various types of improvements in downtown annually (including facade grants, and other funding offered thru NC Main Street).  The MSAB and the Main Street Manager are here to help your business in many ways, and offer monthly updates to keep you informed as a downtown merchant.  Meeting are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
