Questions: Additional questions are answered below.
1. Can you advise size of the West Lawn Small Stage?
There is no set ‘size’ for the small stage (stage that would be located on west lawn area of site). We envision this to be a slightly elevated covered pad – in the neighborhood of 10 x 8 or 12 x 8 (or larger, given best practice advisement to be useable for multi-piece bands and equipment).
The size indicated on the east side of the conceptual landscape plan is an indicative/placeholder size as well. We would like to advisement as to what size would be best practice to install for larger performances, and of course what fits in this overall budget.
2. In the Selection Process paragraph, it is stated that the committee will consider major factors on a weighted scale matrix. Does this mean there will be a pre-qualification form provided to us or do we take the major factors that will be considered and create our own pre-qualification form?
There will not be a pre-qualification form, as such – the factors listed in that section will simply be what are considered as some of the most important factors in making the selection. For example: cost, - - on a scale of 1-5, does the proposal meet our budget, come under budget (scores highest), or go over budget? (scores lowest).
3. What were previous building sizes on the Heritage Center property, prior to its renovation?
The YV Heritage Center is now 6,222 SF.
The footprint of the building prior to this construction was approximately: 5,100 SF + 3,665 SF + 4,085 SF = 12,850 SF.

4. Flood zone information.
Below are a couple of resources that could be helpful. Chosen contractor will be responsible for satisfying all FEMA requirements, or submitting for any map revisions/variances based on data you can provide.
Link to our flood zone ordinance here and scroll to the bottom of the list. A local surveyor, Robin Smith of Foothills Surveying, who is also a member of our planning board could be a resource of knowledge on this as well: 336-835-5882

5. (6/20/2023) Per your attachment as highlighted in Yellow below, originally the site work was not part of the package but now it is?:
"Concrete ‘parking’ pads should be located adjacent to the covered area, for accessible parking, ingress/egress and parking for mobile food trucks/trailers. Concrete curbing should be included in ingress/egress and attach or conform to existing curb."
Answer: We aren’t considering this ‘site work’ so much as just concrete pads adjacent to the covered area where food trucks would park. Given the proximity to the existing paving it is visualized that those two areas would be joined by the pad closest to the paved area.
